So, it seems I don't know my own strength!
Saturday morning, I was attempting to set the cleaning timer on my
oven...and whaddaya know..I broke the knob completely off. Yep, the whole
thing. Snapped. So, I figured the needle-nose pliers would be a good idea to
turn the heat back to the off position. It would have been a great idea if I hadn't broken the pin even more, and if I could have actually turned it to the off position. I could not. It got stuck...at some unknown
temperature setting. I broke my stove.
Then, I went shopping...and we have a new addition to our little family :) Would you like to meet her? Here she is, in all her shining glory, before being christened with a pound of bacon on the stove-top and a pineapple upside down cake in the oven:

Yes, she's a Kitchen Aid. A bright shiny glass topped convection/conventional stove. With a BREAD PROOF OPTION! My dream stove! Now, how can I get the matching fridge?!...lol...
I think I've decided on her name, but I'd love to know what you think she should be called...Leave your suggestion in the comments section! I'll be looking!!
